NASA cancels plutonium-efficient power program

The Advanced Stirling Radioisotope Generators (ASRGs), which would have been ideal for powering planetary missions to the Outer Solar System, were being built by the US Department of Energy, but NASA has pulled the plug on the project, which my article reveals suffered from technical issues and management problems.
