Polar bear scientist scrutinized over contracting assistance

Embattled polar bear scientist and former BOEM contracting official Charles Monnett, mysteriously suspended in 2011, came under scrutiny in part for assistance to a NOAA proposal he was reviewing for BOEM, while he was also opposing an oil industry research initiative, my investigative reporting @NatureNews reveals today.
