Dream 3D imaging technique draws scrutiny

Critics weigh in on ankylography, which promised to produce three dimensional images of molecules, proteins and viruses. The technique would have been valuable for “diffract and destroy” X-ray experiments in which the dose of radiation used to produce the image also causes the subject to explode.
